Details about this work can be found in the academic records of David Thompson who wrote the book about Becker. It shows the title to be ‘milking and it is an etching worked up by the artist with Ink and brush. It was owned by David Thompson before he sold it to Lorna and David Turner . The piece was exhibited in the Ipswich museum show in 1993 was originally from the Kenneth Green collection and sold through the Simon Carter Gallery . These details are also written verso in David Thompson’s own handwriting .
This etching was taken from two black chalk drawings held by the Loftus collection and one reproduced in the book Silver Ley p. 113
