We love Jeni Cairns and the amazing work she does!
Jeni Cairns is an award winning artist and garden designer living in rural Cambridgeshire. Her work covers a wide variety of mediums and disciplines including metal work, painting ,collage, sculpture, drawing, garden design and planting. ​ Please do contact us for more information and to enquire about commissioning a screen made to your bespoke design . All of the artworks are made from Corten steel which produces this oxidized surface that protects it from rusting so lasts for years and looks so well in any modern or traditional garden .

Jeni studied general art and design at Isle of Ely college and Fine Art at Derby university. Creating large scale Abstract and figurative paintings and drawings incorporating text  and various material. Her work has taken her in a kind of full but ever expanding circle, after experimenting with welding and oxy acetylene cutting while at college and on her dads farm as a teenager she went off to uni to study painting. A move to her grandparents home and a career in garden design bought her back in touch with her love of nature, metal work and sculpture. We first met Jeni last year after the first lock down period when she designed and installed one of her Corten Steel panels in our garden . We were so delighted that we are very happy to exhibit her work in the gallery and garden for you to see.

​ Jeni's career really blossomed after starting a garden design course nine years ago. Winning awards for her show gardens at Harrogate in 2011, 2012 and 2013 Jeni won Gold and best summer garden at RHS Hampton court 2014 and gold and best in show in the RHS Hampton Court 2016 show.
